1090MHz 2.2dBi Sleeve Dipole Antenna

Description

This portable antenna can be used for receiving ADS-B, Mode S, and Mode A/C transmissions on 1090MHz. It has an SMA male plug and can be mated with an SMA female jack. The elbow allows the antenna to be poised at a variety of angles; ADS-B transponders use vertically polarized antennas, so you’ll want this antenna to be aligned vertical to the ground for best reception.

The coaxial sleeve dipole internal structure of this antenna creates a relatively omnidirectional gain pattern with a peak gain of 2.2dBi around the horizon, which is useful for receiving aircraft at a wide range of azimuths and elevations.
