Use this handy tool to remove the WiFi antenna cable from the ADSBee 1090’s WiFi module.
Removing the WiFi antenna cable is the trickiest part of disassembling an ADSBee 1090, and carries about a 50% chance of destroying the connector on the WiFi module if it’s done without the proper tool (ask me how I know)! This tool is highly recommended if you’re planning to transfer your ADSBee 1090 to a new enclosure or disconnect its WiFi antenna connector for any reason.
The tool includes arms that can be slid under the wings on an MHF3 plug, allowing it to be removed from an MHF3 jack without damage. The tool also includes an arm that secures the MHF3 plug from above, allowing the same tool to be used when aligning and installing an MHF3 plug onto its mating jack.
